Sustainable design elements -

• re-use of entire existing fitout

• re-use of existing lighting (serviced to be more energy efficient)

• zero and low VOC paint,

• energy efficient light fittings

 

Biophillia:

• live plants,

• plenty of natural light

• views to the outdoors

 

Design note - This was a very tight budget fitout as it was originally a short term lease. Cleverly, we were able to enhance the sustainability criteria by repurposing the clients existing fitout from their shop just a few doors down. By painting the shelves, pipework and floor we were able to transform the look of the shop into a completely different space. 

A unique, hand drawn artwork by a local artist has captured the supply chain of the product to create a striking and environmentally friendly design feature.
